Lacey is a trail running, rock climbing, outdoor adventure-seeking, stay-at-home mom of 2 teens. She loves to travel and explore all the wild spaces that this earth has to offer. You can usually find Lacey in the forest or on the cliffs above the river surrounding her home in St. Croix Falls, WI or somewhere in the wilderness along the shores of Lake Superior. She is always up for an adventure and prefers life in a tent over being at home. She loves inspiring others to find and pursue their passions and to explore the space outside their comfort zone. Finding Limits on the Superior Hiking Trail

On day one in the dark of the early morning, I stood with my husband, Nate at the Southern Terminus of the Superior Hiking Trail (SHT). As I straddled the border of Minnesota and Wisconsin, I started my GPS watch and satellite tracker and took the first step toward the 310 miles to Canada.
