This past July, I completed my first 100 miler at the Vermont 100 Endurance Race, on the hottest weekend of the year in New England. I honestly had a blast, and even enjoyed the heat. I felt strong during the day, kept well hydrated and ran over 80 miles with some of my best friends.
Liz grew up in New Hampshire, and upon returning a few years ago re-discovered all the beauty her state has to offer. She is a Registered Nurse working in her local emergency room, actively involved in her running group Six03 Endurance and intermittently teaches yoga. She generally prefers gnarly technical trails, but also holds the desert near to her heart. She currently lives on a 170 acre farm, and spends her free weekends exploring the White Mountains with friends and her rescue pup Mesa or cheering/volunteering at local ultra races.
